The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, perfect for walking and hiking in the Thuringian Forest. the rooms are of good quality, although lacking in a special atmosphere. the restaurant offers a nice view of the mountains and valley, and the breakfast is of good quality. the hotel also provides facilities such as a sauna, infrared cabin, and steam room, as well as fitness rooms in both the hotel and its sister hotel nearby.

Some of the reception staff were not friendly.

We stayed for 5 nights in a business class double room. The room was clean and functional, with good facilities such as a sauna, infrared cabin, and steam room. The breakfast was good and the evening meal was very enjoyable. The hotel also had a small fitness room, and we were able to use a larger fitness room in a nearby sister hotel. we had a fantastic stay and would recommend this hotel.

Limited availability for massages, it would have been better if there were more appointments available. Some of the reception staff could have been friendlier and more welcoming, which would have enhanced the overall experience.

Great base for walks/hikes in the scenic Thuringian Forest. Top-quality breakfast and evening meals. Gorgeous views of the valley from the restaurant.
